North Italy Wine & Food Pairing Event at Mithna

Vinotyp are back with our 7th and final event of the year. The theme is a personal favourite of ours and perfect for the November weather - North Italy! 

A four-course wine & food pairing event at Mithna! The perfect venue with a 300-year-old building to host a cultured evening.

Four amazing wines from Piemonte, Friuli-Venezia Giulia and Umbria! All from artisan wine producers and paired with a bespoke food menu by Mithna. We will also be guided by no other than leading wine educator Aaron Rizzo.

The evening will start with a serving of Canapes of the following:

Seared rabbit livers, toasted rosemary brioche, caramelised orange, carob scented jus. 

Beetroot cured salmon, mango salsa, squid ink cracker. Aged pecorino and pistachio Gougères.

Four-Course Wine and Food Menu as follows:
Starter

Supreme of sea bass, pan-seared scallop, raw local red prawn, apple, fennel and celery velouté, shiso cress leaves. 

Pinot grigio. Zorzettig 

Intermediate

Lamb ragout agnolotti, roasted Jerusalem artichoke puree, seared Nduja, gremolata. 

Montefalco Rosso. Scacciadiavoli 

Main Course

Braised beef cheeks, cheesy ham hock croquette, truffled pea puree, cooking liquor reduction. 

Barolo. Prunotto 

Dessert

Warm sticky toffee pudding, cinnamon ice cream, poached plums, toasted almond shavings. 

Monteolivo Moscato D ‘Asti. Bersano
